The Creative process of a Storybook
I've been working on a book for the past 15+ years.

I started it when my daughter was 3 and I had a lovely, simple idea to make a children's book for her based on the seasons.
​
It has evolved incredibly since those days long ago, branching out from a sprout to an ecosystem of complex systems.
The anthropomorphized seasons have transformed into an esoteric labyrinth of archetypal symbolism and a journey into our existence through the metaphors that Earth and the Universe offer us.
It is composed mostly of giant 40” x 30” paintings, detailed and elaborate, taking many months of contemplation and painting to encompass the accuracy of the environmental information within the seasons.
The seasonal energy of each painting in creation is parallel to the seasonal activity at the time. Each painting is taking several seasons to complete.
The story is precise, simple and refining over time.
There's no turning back now, we've come this far.
